It has a slight orange look to the pigment which will work when adding the actual orange to it. I wanted to avoid a bright plastic toy tiger look.

I did'nt consider painting the stripes with a series of black washes. I was going to thin black and then add a little grey to stop it looking too black, but the wash idea sounds better. It sounds a lot more organic looking.Goblin Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14931436821182962785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4266200265116124990.post-2180819700463063442017-09-21T09:51:26.621+01:002017-09-21T09:51:26.621+01:00Nice additions to your army, with the tigers avoid...Nice additions to your army, with the tigers avoid using orange, use a brown that has a orange tint to it. GW skrag brown would work well as a basecolour then add more orange for highlight. with the stripes paint with black wash, this will require lot's of thin layers but will give you the desired effect. Make sure each layer of wash is fully dry before applying the next as all you will do when wet is remove the previous layer while adding the nextDave Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13398737478468720431noreply@blogger.com
