Jonny Lauck made Savage Crew miniatures, which sorta make good proxies for Paranoia troubleshooters and robots. Unfortunately, he's retired. aka. I was looking at them the other night and thuoght using them for Space Alert was a great idea. Great painting too, love how you did the Security Guards.

VWDXMPCOPC is a great scenario, full of old Rogue Trader and Paranoia fun and humour. It was one of only a few Rogue Trader scenarios, but it's often overlooked. I just like the idea of Orks and Alpha Complex Citizens encountering each other.

Glad you enjoyed the post. I've just been trying to collect and paint some of these great minis myself. I'm also very happy that you're shedding some light on VWDXMPCOPC, which has to be one of the most fun scenarios ever written. I wanted to build the little force for the scenario as a bit of fun, and because I loved the idea of the scenario. It also fits in with my liking of both Paranoia and early 40k, especially the early Space Orks.

I wanted to build the force using only the Paranoia range of miniatures, and was fortunate to already have most of the ones I needed. It not only seemed fitting to do so, but you're right, the sculpts do capture Paranoia's playfulness very well.

I can't take credit for the names, they are the names from the scenario, and add to the humour of the scenario.
